Meta Ads onboarding

Set up Facebook and Instagram ads without password sharing. We need asset IDs, partner access, billing, domain verification, and tracking status.

Need from client

Business Portfolio ID

The Business ID lets us request partner access to assets instead of using personal login details.

Required assets

Page, Instagram, ad account, dataset

Campaigns need proper access to the Page, connected Instagram account, ad account, pixel/dataset, and verified domain.

Common blocker

2FA or restricted account

Meta often blocks access changes if admins do not have two-factor authentication enabled or the account is restricted.

Access flow

Fastest path to Meta access.

We prefer partner access through Meta Business settings.

  1. Confirm the Business Portfolio
    Find the Business ID in Meta Business Settings > Business Info.
  2. Confirm assets
    Identify the Facebook Page, Instagram account, ad account, dataset/pixel, and domain.
  3. TCM requests partner access
    We send a partner request or provide our partner business ID for the client to add.
  4. Client approves access
    An admin grants access to the required assets and confirms billing is active.
  5. Verify restrictions
    Check Business Support Home for ad account restrictions, payment issues, disabled assets, or policy warnings.

Message to send the client

Please send your Meta Business Portfolio ID, Facebook Page URL, Instagram handle, Meta Ad Account ID, and Pixel/Dataset ID. We will request partner access. Please do not send your Facebook password. Also confirm that the admin user has two-factor authentication enabled and that the ad account payment method is active.
