Recommended onboarding workflow.

This is agency-facing guidance. It should not be sent to clients.

  1. Create or confirm the GHL opportunity
    Stage: New Lead or Onboarding Started. Attach the signed agreement, package, pricing model, and kickoff owner.
  2. Send the client start link
    Send https://onboarding.thecontractorsmarketing.com/client/. Ask them to complete intake first, then use guidance only for blocked access items.
  3. Review intake in GHL
    Confirm business info, owner contact, target market, ad accounts, assets, A2P requirements, and known blockers.
  4. Split tasks by blocker
    Google Ads, Meta, GHL/A2P, tracking, creative assets, launch approval, billing, and legal/consent.
  5. Complete access requests
    Use Google Ads manager linking, Meta partner access, GHL sub-account access, Ringba/ClickFlare workspace access, and DNS/domain verification as needed.
  6. QA before launch
    Test forms, calls, source attribution, click IDs, phone swaps, CRM stages, reporting, and conversion event flow.
Launch gates

Do not launch until these are green.

Hard blockers

  • Google Ads access, billing, and policy status confirmed.
  • Meta Business access, ad account billing, dataset, Page, and domain status confirmed.
  • GHL location, pipeline, forms, workflows, phone/SMS settings, and A2P path confirmed.
  • Ringba routing, fallback number, number swap, recording preference, and webhook/postback tested.
  • ClickFlare campaign IDs, landing page tracking, click IDs, and conversion handoff tested.
  • Landing page legal links and SMS consent language present where phone number is collected.
